Talaleka was not born in a boardroom. It started with a simple idea and a simple question: 
"How can we make life easier for people?"
Before Talaleka became a technology platform, we were a small team helping people 
complete everyday tasks. Whether it was picking up groceries, delivering packages, 
collecting important documents, running errands for busy families, or assisting Fijians 
living abroad who needed help getting things done back home for themselves or their loved 
ones, we quickly realized that many people faced the same challenge: they needed reliable 
help, but finding it was often diƯicult.
Many Fijians overseas wanted a trusted person on the ground to help their parents, 
grandparents, relatives, and families in Fiji. Something as simple as delivering groceries, 
paying a bill, collecting documents, arranging transportation, or checking in on a family 
member could become diƯicult when you are thousands of miles away. We saw firsthand 
how important reliable local support was, and how technology could help bridge that 
distance. 
What began as helping one person at a time soon grew into helping entire communities. 
As demand increased, we saw an opportunity to create something much bigger than an 
errand service. We envisioned a platform where anyone could access trusted help, 
products, transportation, and professional services from their mobile phone, all in one 
place. 
That vision became Talaleka.
